The Vineyard Montessori School, established in 1975, is a fully independent non-profit co-educational day school dedicated to educating children using the ideas and curriculum established by Maria Montessori, an Italian physician and educator. The school exclusively accepts kids from toddlers to grade eight, assisting them in developing skills, habits, and attitudes that will help them grow and have incorruptible values for the rest of their lives.

The school’s Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is a voluntary organization of parents, teachers, and other school personnel that began as a method for parents, teachers, and other school personnel to support the school’s vision in their capacity. The group also supports the Montessori method of student learning, which emphasizes the development of a child’s initiative and inherent abilities, notably via physical activities and practice. The Vineyard Montessori School PTA guarantees that the children participate in this varied educational program by using this form of instruction, which allows them to learn at their speed.
